Light of our lives!

Each day I look at our son and I am in awe at just how perfect he is in every way and how we are so much in love with him and how blessed we are to have him as our son. As a matter of fact he just woke up from one of his many "power naps" with the most beautiful smile on his face that just lights up my world - I live for those smiles!

Work is getting better, I go to work and can't wait until its time to RUSH home to baby boy! Nothing else matters once I get home and we just do fun things him until its time for his bath and bedtime. Housework is a thing of the past...well at least it waits until the weekend. Baby boy has rolled over about 4 times from belly to back and really doesn't like it at all!!! We tried working to roll from back to belly tonight and he is SO close but he gets mad and quits because he can't quite figure it out yet - but he is not far from being able to do it! He is reaching for EVERYTHING these days and I love watching him do it. He concentrates so hard on what he wants to get and both hands head in at the same time to pick it up and most of the time they reach their target, sometimes they are off and he tries again! He loves to sit in his exersaucer and bumbo seat because he is able to sit up and see everything that is going on. I think that is why he is not crazy about laying on the floor because he feels like he is missing out on something.

I am so excited for all my bloggy friends. Thanks for all your comments and suggestions!!! You guys are the best!! Its so nice to have friends that are going through or have went through the same struggles/journeys as you!

OK I love that picture of him in the hoodie, that is too precious!! I'm so glad things are getting a little easier for you with the working mom thing!

Isn't it so amazing how we each end up with the PERFECT children for us?? I look at Charlie all the time, and simply couldn't imagine anyone more suited to our family, what a blessing indeed!

Such a cutie pie!
Oh...the drool. about 3 months was when it started for Shelby but just his past month it has been kicked into full throttle! babies usually get their first tooth between 4 and 6 mos...so it may still take a while but it is coming.
